Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Hyperthyroidism With Rougan Ningxin Decoction With Sinus And Supraventricular Tachycardia

Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of Rougan Ningxin Formula in treating of hyperthyroidism complicated by sinustachycardia or supraventricular tachycardia with heart yin and liver yin deficiency syndrom.Methods:Totally50patients with hyperthyroidism complicated by sinustachycardia or supraventricular tachycardia were randomly divided into a treatment group(25cases) and a control group(25cases).Both groups applied routine western medicine,symptomatic treatment with thiamazole tablets and propranolol hydrochloride.On the basis of that,the treatment group was added with Rougan Ningxin Formula,the control group was added with Wenxin particle.The changes of dynamic electrocardiography,heart rate,thyroid function and TCM symptom scores were observed before and after treatments.The clinical efficacy was assessed after treatment.Results:(1)With comparison of average heart rate of the two groups,the variance analysis of grouped data indicates that a significant difference exists in two groups,suggesting that average heart rate decline in treatment group is better than the control group after treatment,that is,the level of average heart rate in the treatment group recover faster than the control group.(2) With comparison of anti arrhythmia efficacy of the two groups,the anti arrhythmia total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than which in the control group(P<0.05),that is,anti arrhythmia efficacy in the treatment group was significantly better than which in the control group.(3)With comparison of the sinus rhythm reverted efficacy of the two groups,sinus rhythm reverted total rate after treatment in the treatment group was significantly higher than which in the control group(P<0.05),that is,the sinus rhythm reverted efficacy in the treatment group was significantly better than which in the control group. (4)With comparison of thyroid function level (FT3,FT4,TSH) of the two groups,the variance analysis of grouped data indicates that a significant difference exists in two groups,suggesting that thyroid function decline in treatment group is better than the control group after treatment,that is,the treatment group’s level of thyroid function recover faster.(5) With comparison of the TCM symptom total effective rate of the two groups, there was a significant difference between the groups(P<0.05),,meaning the TCM symptoms efficacy in the treatment group was significantly better than which in the control group.(6) With comparison of the TCM symptom scores of the two groups, there was a significant difference between the groups(P<0.05),and integral decline of treatment group was obviously better than the control group,meaning the TCM symptoms efficacy in the treatment group was significantly better than which in the control group.Conclusion:This research suggests that the treatment group was on the basis treatment added with Rougan Ningxin Formula could improve the clinical efficacy,revert sinus rhythm,reduce the average heart rate and improve thyroid function in the treatment of hyperthyroidism complicated by sinustachycardia or supraventricular tachycardia.
