| [background]The burden of disease (BOD) is due to illness, disability, premature death, morbidity of health and economic and social pressure, BOD data through monitoring,dynamic BOD can be related to disease of a country and area, so as to provide the basis for government and health administrative departments of health policy. From eighty’s of the last century, research on the BOD in China gradually increased, the object of study from infectious disease such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, influenza etc. to diabetes. heart disease, stroke, cancer and other chronic non communicable diseases. but the BOD of HIV/AIDS. the domestic research is mainly the parameters is carried out by the WHO.there are few for HIV/AIDS BOD study using parameter local reports.Since1981. America found the first case of AIDS, by2010Global about30,000,000HIV/AIDS, the BOD of HIV/AIDS is in the top10of GBD. Use DALY index to analyze causes HIV/AIDS BOD than morbidity, mortality, disability application rate of HIV/AIDS more can reflect the consequences and influences on social burden, thus for the government and the health administrative departments to study and formulate strategies for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS to provide direct basis.[Objective and significance]1. To understand the JingZhou city HIV infected/AIDS patients (hereinafter referred to as HIV/AIDS) demographic characteristics, epidemic characteristics, quality of life;2.Application of WHO extended DALY index analysis of disease burden of AIDS in JingZhou City, laid the technical foundation for the future development of routine analysis of JingZhou City, the BOD;3.Combined with the features of HIV/AIDS, through the analysis of the BOD, as the government and the administrative department of public health decisions more intuitive specific data to support.[contents and methods]The research content includes two parts, one part is about the analysis of quality of life in the region of HIV/AIDS, is the use of WHO quality of life scale. Two is the first part of the quality of life of the region based on HIV/AIDS disability weight (D), through collection of data related to population, epidemic,using the DALY formula for the area of AIDS BOD.[results]l.As of2012,JingZhou City reported a total of203cases of HIV/AIDS,41cases of death. Reported cases of age concentrated in the15-29years and30-44years old this two ages, accumulated report accounted for77.5%of the total number of cases, the overall report cases of male:female3.44:1. Report of203cases of HIV infection in/AIDS patients, the homosexual transmission in75cases (36.9%),86cases of heterosexual transmission (42.4%), with intravenous drug use transmission in28cases (13.8%).2.The analysis results show the quality of life of HIV/AIDS:single factor analysis showed the survival quality score, was surveyed in age, there were significant differences in infection etc.. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, have a significant impact, marital status and quality of life scores. Age is the hindering factors, quality of life and the younger, married and living quality.3.The results of this study show the local AIDS disability weight parameter is0.478, the one hundred thousand loss of the DALYs was17.61person years in2012,YLLs/YLDs is1.69:1.[Conclusion]1.The region number of reported cases in the past two years growth significantly, the number of deaths is relatively stable, no obvious trend of reported cases, new age concentrated in young age (15-44years old), but the patients aged more than60years the number of reported cases increased gradually, while the male cases are significantly higher than female, case infection report sexual transmission, in which same-sex sexual transmission increased significantly;2.HIV/AIDS quality of life in the region is not optimistic, the main influencing factors were age, marriage status and infection etc.;3.Male disease burden was significantly higher than that in female, and the young people’s highest BOD;4.Through increased publicity and detection to reduce the spread of AIDS, prolong the lifetime of HIV/AIDS through the use of anti retroviral drugs,and by four free and one care and other relief measures to improve the quality of life of HIV/AIDS, can reduce the local HIV/AIDS BOD.
