We are facing a tough challenge when we study modern biotechnology, that is to say, how to propose an effective, feasible method for processing the high-dimensional data. The problem is mainly concentrated in treating the interaction between genes. The traditional method is no longer applicable, as limited by the complexity of the algorithm, the computing power of software and other aspects. Thus, putting forward a practical statistical method is imperative. This paper studies the main effect and interaction between genes on immune suppression susceptibility caused by ultraviolet radiation in mice population. First, we filter data variables by using Screen and Clean and Dantzig, establish a reason-able model, then analyze the main effects and interaction effects between the loci, compare the distinction between significant sites detected by two methods, thus e-valuate the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods. The results show that Dantzig variable selection method is more accurate than the former. Second, we propose a two-stage method combined Dantzig variable selection, to detect the genome-wide main effect and interaction between traits on immune suppression sus-ceptibility caused by ultraviolet radiation of mice population. Finally, we analyze and summarize the applied method, we identify the most significant main effect site is D10Mit170, and the most significant interaction sites are D14Mit266 and D19Mit34...
