Clinical Observation Of TIP Technique In The Treatment Of Mild To Moderate Depression

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Low Resistance Thought Induction Psychotherapy of TCM Psychotherapy (TIP) in the clinical curative effect of the treatment of mild to moderate depression.Methods40 patients with mild to moderate depression patients were randomly divided into in the psychology department of Guanganmen hospital China Academy of traditional Chinese medicine clinic of TCM Psychotherapy into two groups, TIP group and the western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group,20 in each group, the observation period of 6 weeks. Table Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and the amount of the use of psychological psychological scale Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and the therapeutic efficacy of 5-HT in the serum cortisol concentration and physiological index physiological indicators in saliva concentrations in evaluation of mild to moderate depression. All the indexes in the 6 weeks before and after the treatment evaluation. TCM psychological treatment TIP group psychotherapy for 2 times a week,1 hours each time; western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group taking antidepressants Citalopram Hydrobromide Tablets,1 times a day, each time 20mg-40mg. Data were analyzed using SPSS17.0 software for statistical analysis.Result1.Psychological indexes1.1 Within group comparisonsTCM psychological treatment group TIP:subjects after 6 weeks of treatment, for the TCM Psychotherapy of TCM psychological treatment TIP group psychological index of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) before and after the treatment of intra group comparison, Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) score with Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) score have significant difference (P<0.01), patients with anxiety and depression, significantly improved.Western medicine:Citalopram hydrobromide group subjects after 6 weeks of treatment, through to the western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group psychological index of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) before and after the treatment of intra group comparison, Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) score and the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (the score of HAMA) had significant difference (P<0.01), patients with anxiety and depression, significantly improved.1.2 The two groups’ comparisonAfter 6 weeks of treatment, for the TCM Psychotherapy of TCM psychological treatment TIP group and Western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group psychological index of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) before and after treatment between group comparison, TCM psychological treatment TIP group had no significant difference with the citalopram group (P>0.05).1.3 The between group difference comparisonOn TCM Psychotherapy of TCM psychological treatment TIP group and the western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group psychological index of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) were compared before and after treatment were found the difference between groups, TCM psychological treatment TIP group and citalopram hydrobromide citalopram group had no significant difference (P>0.05).2 Physiological indexes2.1 Within group comparisonsTCM psychological treatment TIP group:after 6 weeks treatment, for the TCM psychological treatment group TIP physiological indexes (5-HT, Salivary Cortisol) before and after treatment were found within the group, TCM psychological treatment TIP group after treatment the serum concentration of 5-HT were significantly higher than that before treatment (P< 0.01);The Saliva Cortisol concentrations were significantly lower than that before treatment (P< 0.01).Western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group:after 6 weeks treatment, the western medicine group of citalopram hydrobromide physiological indexes (5-HT, Salivary Cortisol) before and after treatment group were found inside, citalopram hydrobromide group after treatment the serum concentration of 5-HT concentrations were higher than that before treatment; The Saliva Cortisol were significantly lower than that before treatment (P< 0.01)2.2 The two groups’ comparisonAfter 6 weeks of treatment, the two groups of objective scale (5-HT, Salivary Cortisol) comparison before and after treatment were found:cortisol concentrations in saliva of TCM psychological treatment TIP group and Western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group had no significant difference (P>0.05); but for the serum concentration of 5-HT, there was significant difference between the TCM Psychotherapy TIP group and the western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group (P<0.05), TCM psychological treatment TIP group is better than western medicine group of citalopram hydrobromide.2.3The between group difference comparisonOn TCM psychological treatment TIP group and Western medicine group of physiological indexes of citalopram hydrobromide (5-HT, Salivary Cortisol) comparison found that difference between groups before and after treatment, two groups of cases in serum concentrations of 5-HT had significant difference (P<0.05), TCM psychological treatment TIP group was significantly higher than the western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group; but in saliva cortisol concentration of TCM psychological treatment TIP group and the western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group had no significant difference (P>0.05).3.A comparison of efficiencyThe main clinical application of general HAMD score reduction rate of two groups were compared with the efficiency of chi square. TCM psychological treatment TIP group effective 18 cases accounted for 95%,1 cases accounted for 5%; the western medicine group of citalopram hydrobromide was effective in 16 cases accounted for 84% cases, invalid 3 cases 16%). Discovery of TCM psychological treatment TIP group and Western medicine citalopram hydrobromide group two cases had no significant difference between the efficiency (P>0.05).Conclusion1.TIP treatment group and Western medicine of citalopram hydrobromide treatment of depression, anxiety and other emotional for mild to moderate depression patients which has a significant role in the improving mood.2.TCM psychological treatment and Western medicine TIP citalopram hydrobromide treatment also has significant effects on Physiological Indexes in patients with mild and moderate, can increase the concentration of 5-HT in serum, reduce cortisol in saliva. The TCM psychological treatment of Western medicine TIP than citalopram hydrobromide in increasing the concentration of 5-HT in serum effect more obvious.3.The Chinese medicine psychology TIP technology and Western medicine efficacy of citalopram hydrobromide group approximation, TCM psychological treatment and Western medicine TIP citalopram hydrobromide two methods in the treatment of depression in recent curative effect quite, long-term effect is not knowed.
