Professor Zhou Pingan 's Experience In Treating Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Background:Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF for short),is a hot issue in research of elderly respiratory difficulty disease,one of the chronic progressive,fatal and irreversibility.IPF of unknown etiology,onset conceals,mainly occurs in the elderly,the clinical manifestation of unexplained chronic exertional dyspnea,there is a lack of effective means of non traumatic effect a radical cure.Objectives:This article through to 32 cases in clinical remission of IPF patients clinical effect of research and analysis,from a statistical perspective to explore the professor ping-an zhou’s advantage and medication rules in the treatment of IPF.Methods:This article adopts the method of before-and-after in the samepatient,a collection of 32 cases since 2013.06-2014.12 dongzhimen hospital professor ping-an zhou in the outpatient clinic in clinical remission of IPF cases,patients were oral ping-an zhou’s medicine.In first three months before treatment,patients with no hormone and immune inhibitor medication history,or by the hormone and immune inhibitor treatment is invalid,and within 3 months before the first clinic not taking other traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparations.For the patients with oral hormone,taking TCM and to maintain the original hormone doses at the same time at the beginning of the treat-ment;For patients who were not taking hormone to begin with,only taking traditional Chinese medicine.Observation period for 3 months,record the patient’s general condit-ion,symptoms,signs and prescription drugs,and so on.To evaluate the curative effect, coughing,wheezing and symptom scores with reference to the Chinese New Medicine Clinical Research Guiding Principles of cough symptoms integral scale,breathing sympt-oms integral scale;chest high-resolution CT(HRCT) score according to the left and right pulmonary vision evaluation,respectively,to assess the political wilderness; dyspnea degree evaluation with reference to the UK medical research council dyspnea rating were assessed.All the data into EXCEL 2013,analysisof import of SPSS 17.0 Paired sample t test and Wilcoxon test,from a statistical study professor ping-an zhou’s advantages for the treatment of IPF.In addition,for the clinical effective of 29 cases, further analysis ping-an zhou using drugs regularity,and then summarize the experiences of professor ping-an zhou in the treatment of IPF,explore his academic thought.Results:Patients before and after treatment of contrast,laryngeal cough,wheezing integral have obvious difference(P<0.05),statistically significant;HRCT integral lack of significant difference(P<0.05),not statistically significant;dyspnea degree evaluation lack of significant difference(with only 43.75% efficient).Conclusions:Reasonable intervention of Chinese medicine in the treatment of IPF is relatively simple to use hormone therapy has a certain advantage,ping-an zhou’s experi- ence and thinking disease syndrome differentiation system is worth digging and promot-ion.Ping-an zhou,a professor at the application of traditional Chinese medicine is effective for the treatment of IPF.
