| [Abstract] Objective To study the relevance and significance analysis of lower extremity atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease,to explore the application values of lower extremity arterial ultrasound in the community health monitoring and management of coronary heart disease。Methods Lower extremity artery ultrasound were given to556cases of CHD patients and158patients (control group)who except CHD to observe the morphological changes of lower extremity arteries and to compare and analyze the differences of artery intima-media thickness (IMT)ã€vessel diameter the severity and the incidence of atherosclerotic plaque. Results Morphological changes occured in lower extremity vascular lesions. The CHD group IMT, plaque detection rate, overall lesion rate and the severe lesions rate were higher than that of the control group, and the same vessel diameter was significantly smaller than that of the control group. CHD group of lower extremity vascular disease, age, duration of diabetes, and duration of hypertension was significantly greater than the lesion group, and with the increased severity, age increments..Conclusions There is a close link between the lower extremity atherosclerosis and coronary artery lesions, the higher the value of lower extremity arterial IMT, the greater the risk of suffering coronary heart disease. Ultrasonic testing of lower extremity arteries,as an appropriate technology, can apply to community health monitoring and management of coronary heart disease patients, providing important informations about coronary heart disease’s prevention, diagnosis and treatment. |
