Research objective:A famous Tibetan medicine book named ManXie Dajie is written in eighth Century and whichis greatly inherited from generation to generation among classical Tibetan medicine booksaccording to Tibetan medicine history, so there is great value to research on classical medicalbook which is full of theoretical and practical skills. Besides, the contents of this book is coveredmany diseases and importantly which abstract characteristics of many other medical systems. Allin all,“ManXie Dajie” has great valuable to inheriting and developing the practice of futureTibetan Medicine. But from tenth Century to now, there is only few sources to explain the originand abstraction of this classical book, so it is necessary or urgent to doing research on aclassification of diseases and symptoms of this great book, especially research on the ways ofdisease explaination which are unknown in other classical books. From above background, in thispaper I had compare to other medical books to reveal the different description of disease and theclassification of diseases and symptoms in "ManXie Dajie ". Besides in order to practice wholediseases mentioned in "ManXie Dajie " in daily clinical practice, I am going to study onclassification and symptoms of diversity diseases in " ManXie Dajie ".Research methods:"ManXie Dajie "is an ancient book of eighth Century and there are113chapters, which explainor describe the causes, classifications, symptoms and treatment of diversity illnesses. In thisstudy I had mainly compared classifications and symptoms of normal and abnormal of three“Niba” and other organs in " ManXie Dajie " with other four typical tibentan medicalbooks,which are named “Four tartars”," Eight Branches"," Woju Kasi"," Geiba Genjun", toreveal the characteristics of diseases in " ManXie Dajie ".Research results:Firstly, the contents and words of "ManXie Dajie " has special orders. For example;Amongthree Niba, Long is first, second is Peigan, and the last is Chiba. Besides the causes of entiredisease is three abnormal Niba and the total number of disease classification is237. Comparing to "Four Tantars", there are105diseases have same name among them same diseasename and same symptoms are50; same disease name but different symptoms are55; besides samesymptoms and different diseases name are10.Comparing to " Woju Kasi " there are81diseases have same name among them same diseasename and same symptoms are60; same disease name but different symptoms are21; besidessame symptoms and different diseases name are19.Comparing to "Geiba Genjun " there are36diseases have same name among them same diseasename and same symptoms are19; same disease name but different symptoms are17.In addition, other medical books haven’t mentioned but only mentioned in "ManXie Dajie" is95kinds of disease, and which has unique research value for development of Tibetan medicine.To sum up, comparing to "Four Tantars" that "ManXie Dajie" has its own unique arrangement ofchapters, special symptoms description and diagnosis methods. Besides, the issue of ManXieDajie’s origin of ancient India and Han is not true. The truth is "ManXie Dajie" is based onancient Tibetan medicine system, but which had absorbed other foreigner medicine’s best skills toenrich original Tibetan Medicine, so it has very high historical value and practical value toresearch on famous ancient book named "ManXie Dajie".
