Kyoho Grape was employed as the plant materials. The plants were treated with the chemical substances to release dormancy. And the changes of the endogenous hormone and organic matter contents as well as amylase activity were detected during the dormancy release. The results are as follows.1. The results of chemical screening experiments indicated that single cyanamide was better than nitrolime for promoting blossom of Kyoho grapevine in the second season of the one-year-two-harvest production. And the optimum concentration was 2.5%.2. The results of physiological analyses indicated that the Kyoho grape gemma dormancy phenomenon and its relief were not depended on any sole hormone level but determined by the interactions of multiple hormones. The GA3, ZR, IAA and ABA levels might be the key factors affecting the dormancy of the summer buds. The bud dormancy was relieved easily under the conditions of high GA3 and ZR but low IAA and ABA contents. And the ABA level was the key factor causing the winter bud dormancy. When the ABA content was high, the winter bud sprouting was suppressed. When the IAA content was high, the winter buds sprouted.3. During the chemical induction of sprouting of the dormant winter or summer buds, the accelerating degradation of the stored starch by the increasing activity of amylase was very important to supply soluble sugar...
