Strawberry is called fruit queen by occidental thanks to the good of color and savory.The strawberry Fusarium Wilt is an important disease of cropping base in Sichuan, e'mei city, the percentage of diseased plant over 50% in 2004, some planters have no harvest. This dissertation included the symptom characteristics, the identification of pathogen, the biology characteristics, the disease cycle and the control of disease.1 The sympyom characteristics of Strawberry Fusarium WiltFirst symptom is heart-leaf curling and abnormality, one to two lobules of three are narrowness or ship form, and leaves become yellow or lackluster, and leaf-edge change to brown. Finally the strawberry become to fade and died. Roots become to brown, no fresh-roots developing, vascular bundle change to brown too.2 Isolation and cultural characteristics of Strawberry Fusarium WiltIsolate the diseased root, and gain the pathogen. The pathogen is cultured on PDA medium, the colony is white, circular, and purple later. The colony is sticking up from medium with a height about 3~5 mm. The spores begin to be produced after 3 days and the pile of spores is white.3 Inoculation and identificationThe diseased symptom and the pathogen characteristics of inoculated plant, were similarly to the diseased plant in field. It is improved that the isolating was the pathogen of strawberry Fusarium Wilt. The hypha have septa and branches, mostly spores are minitype conidiophore, living on single-peduncle, gatheing to head shape , single cell, spawn or kidney shape, no separate or one separate, the size is 3.9-13.0μm×2.6~5.2μm. A little big conidiophore, hook or spindle shape, with feet cell, one to four separate, mostly three septa, the size is 13.0~36.4μm×2.6~5.2μm. Chlamydospore grew on tip of mycelium or middle of it, the size is 5.2-13.00μm×5.2~13.00μm.
