Bacillus genus is natural source of the feed probiotics, which comprises a diverse collection of aerobic endospore-forming bacteria whose spores consist of several protective layers surrounding the nucleoid in the spore core. This structural organization makes the spores extremely resistant to external physical and chemical insults and in part determines their exceptional longevity in the environment. Bacillus probiotics from other bacterial probiotic formulations and offers a number of clear advantages. These include low cost of production, ease of preparation, resistance to production processes, and extended shelf-life over a wide range of temperatures. However,Bacillus probiotics is still lacking. Screening higher enzyme-producing and higher competitive-inhibited probiotic strains are very important for the development of Bacillus probiotics. In this study, we screen one Bacillus licheniformis strain based on oxygen exhaust, temperature and acid tolerance, protease and amylase production test and antimicrobial activity from 20 Bacillus spp.. Meanwhile,we use this strain to theapy a mouse model of antibiotic-induced microbiota disruption that includes stable increases in intestinal Enteropathogenic Eschirichia coli(EPEC) and Salmonella typhimurium.1. C01 was selected for good probiotic candidate from 20 Bacillus strains and characterized to be Bacillus licheniformis. Strains C01, F1, 02-1, 10182 and 03-R were showed have higher biological aerobiosis by biological aerobic method. Further research has been done and is based on the earlier works. The protein hydrolysis was observed that C01 and 10182 have higher activities of protease, which were 1022.56U/ml and 793.34U/ml, respectively. Viability of C01 were 95% and 55% after cells be heated in 93℃and 98℃for 5 minutes. Tolerance ability of low pH value indicates that 03-R and C01 have higher than the other strains tested; C01 has a high livability in the pH range from 2 to 3. Through Agar well diffusion assay, C01 showed a better ability to inhibit the growth of...
