With the development of plant gene engineering, many transgenetic inset-resistant cotton cultivars have been in field production. A lot of variations occurred during proceeding of transformation. Some variations were heritable. The value of the variations as an important inherits resources was neglected. After the bio-assay of insect-resistance, a lot of transgenic plants with agronomic variations were obtained. This research revealed that the transgenic plant had the insect-resistance when the concentration of Bt reached 1500ng/g.The agronomic traits analysis of T5 generation of trangic lines with stable traits revealed that variation occurred in many traits via both pathways of transgene. The variations had been summarized and statisticed by statistics method. There were some variations in both populations obtained via the two transgenic pathways, such as rising of the concentration of chlorophyll, yield and the height of plant. The Micron value and generational period in the two populations presend the same trend of variation. The leaves of zhong-99668 became smaller and the plant branch reduced after transformed by pollen-tube pathway method, but CCRI 24 had opposite tendency by the Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. Some insect-resistance transgenic lines were obtained which have many fine traits such as high product, earliness and good fiber quality. The results are valuable to further research for cotton breeding...
