The traditional SPAC system has not been clear about consideration ground water factor, only is in the soil moisture indirect consideration ground water factor. Therefore, in the shallow ground water burying depth area, brings into the ground water and the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum to the identical system in constitutes the ground water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum (GSPAC), will be helpful to the research sand GSPAC system moisture content characteristic. Under this background, this article has carried on the observation experiment to two kinds of main natural vegetation in experiment plot. Mainly has studied the influence of the ground water burying depth to the natural vegetation, has calculated the natural vegetation's ecology water demand, has simulated the ground water burying depth dynamic change using the SWAP model, has extracted the natural vegetation growth and the ground water relations model under the different the depth of ground water table condition. This study offers the theory basis for further studies the containment ecological environment worseing of the typical wilderness prairie area, to realizes the region sustainable development to have the vital significance. The research obtains main conclusion as follows:The northwest of China regional climate to be arid, the water resources are scarcity, which is our country ecological environment frail area also is the construction important region that has certain typical nature and the representation in the arid area research. The arid and semi-arid areas of Northwest are scarce in the rainfall and big in the transpiration rate situation, the ground water may the main environment factor which grows as the arid area vegetation. But the traditional SPAC system has not been clear about consideration ground water this function, therefore in the shallow ground water burying depth area, the ground water and SPAC system constitution ground water-soil-plant-atmosphere continuum (GSPAC), will be helpful to the research sand GSPAC system moisture content characteristic. Mao Wusu sand is the typical represents area of our country model arid and semi-arid prairie climate. This article are few in view of this area about the GSPAC system moisture content research, chose 2 kinds of main natural vegetations in the experiment plot to carry on the observation experiment; And discussed the influence mechanism about the ground water to the grow, physiologic and output of the natural vegetation, has formulated between them the quota relations, confirmed the crops-water response model of the natural vegetation suited in this local, and has estimated the natural vegetation ecology water demand initially; Has simulated the ground water burying...
