As the only reindeer population of china ,concentrating in Oluguya ewenke national countryside of Genhe city, it damnified by many diseases in the past years because of situating at the outlying backwardness the Daxinanling center and lacing of effective measure of the preventing and controlling. In these diseases, the epidemic of C.trompe larvae was one of them. In this articl, the epidemiology of C.trompe larvae was studied, including its damage and prevention and control. The result as follow:During 2003-2005 years, We investigated the quantity of the reindeer attacked by C.trompe in different months and the rule of action in different reindeer's herds, and found that: the adult C.trompe appeared in earlier period of June and disappeared at the end of September every year; the attacking peak was from July to August, when is the most time that the reindeer were infected .The results of dissection were that: the mean infective rate were 92.0%, 90.05%and 89.75% from 2003 to 2005,and the total infective rate by average was 91.62%; The mean infective rate of juvenile reindeer were 20.4,16.0 and 18.0 larvae per reindeer during the three years; The mean infectivity of audlt reindeer were 11.7,15.4 and 15.9 larvae per reindeer.Besides, the total infectivity was correlated to the age,sex of reimdeer and frequency of herd's migration. In this study, the contents of NO and activity of NOS were determined by UV spectrophotometry, in order to confirm the damage to the reindeer. The results showed that the contents of NO and activity of NOS were significantly higher than the helminthiciding group (P<0.01); between the helminthicidings, the differences of contents of NO and activity of NOS weren't significant. The result indicated that the parasitism of C.trompe larvae could initiate NO non-specific immune reaction of the organism to join the protecting reaction. Meanwhile, the organism started specific immune reaction to stimulate activity of induction nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), encouraging the secretion of NO greatly and directly participating the process of anti-parasite infection.Through preventing and control experiment using anthelminthic which were carried...
