Studies on genetic diversity of horse breeds based on the blood protein(Enzyme) polymorphisms.To investigate the genetic variability within breeds and genetic differentiation between breeds of horses,blood protein (Enzyme) polymorphisms in six horse breeds Wuzhumuqin horse(50),Wushen horse(54),Sanhe horse(56),Xinihe horse(60),Barag horse(60),Chunxue horse (60) in all 337 indiciduals were carried out by means of Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis,including Transferrin ( Tf ) ,Esterase( ES ) ,Albumins ( ALb ) ,Prealbumins ( Pr ) ,Phosphogluconate dehydrogenase (PGD),Carbon anhydrase(CA),group-specific component(GC)andα1-B-Glycoprotein(A1B).The results showed that six loci in all six breeds were polymorphic (Tf,Pr,ES,ALb,CA,PGD) .One loci in Wuzhumqin horse and Wushen horses were monomorphic (GC) .One loci in Chunxue horse was polymorphic but the others were monomorphic (A1B).Tf was determined by 6 alleles,Pr was determined by 4 alleles,ES was determined by 3 alleles and the others were determined by 2 alleles.The statistical result of population genetic parameters showed the average heterozygosity(H) of polymorphism protein (Enzyme) loci in Sanhe horse,Xinihe horse,Barag horse,Wuzhumqin horse,Wushen horse,Chunxue horse were 0.3956,0.3783,0.3666,0.3296,0.3056,0.2666 respectively.Using the gene frequencies of 8 loci,the genetic distance beteen six population were calculated by the formulate of Nei.UPGMA and analysis were also made.The outcome showed that there are nearest genetic distance between Xinihe horse and Barag horse,the nearer genetic distance from Wuzhumqin horse,Wushen horse and the further genetic distance from introduced Chunxue horse.
