There were five treatments:the amount of sulphur respectively was zero(CK), 6kg/667m2 (T1), 8kg/667m2 (T2), 10kg/667m2 (T3), 12kg/667m2 (T4). Little bulbs were planted on the plots which had inseminated garlic for more than two years. The researcher noted the status of the plant's growth and development. The contents of vitamin C, allicin, Ws-S, essential amino acid, soluble sugar, soluble protein, photosynthetic properties and the yield were analyzed. The author studied the effect of sulphur using for garlic and its effect on the yields and quality of it. The results were as following:As long as the amount of sulphur was from 0 to 12kg/667m2, the more sulphur, the better the way garlic was growing. However, the plants in T4 were lower than those in T3, and the leaf area were smaller. Chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total content increased with the more sulphur amount from 0 to 10Kg/667m2. However, when the sulphur amount was 12Kg/667m2, the above three contents were lower.And the photosynthetic rate was the largest when the sulphur amount was 10Kg/667m2.Executing sulphur fertilizer benefited the nutrition status of garlic. And in T3, the content of soluble sugar, Vc and allicin all was higher than that, respectively, in other treatments. The content of sulphur in garlic has positive correlation with the content of allicin, Ws-S, essential amino acid and soluble protein, the result is 0.83,0.97,0.94 for each. At the same time, the more the sulphur content in soil, the more the content of soluble protein, Ws-S and essential amino acid, individually.After executing sulphur fertilizer, the nutrition balance was adjusted, the resistance of leaf-rust was enhanced, and, of course the yield increased.When executing 10Kg/667m2 sulphur, the yield of garlic and the proportion of investing and outputting were both higher than others, respectively, 1806.3Kg and 18.22. |
