| Nowadays, maize sheath blight has become one of most epidemic disease of maize around the world. It is also serious diseases in China especially in the southern area. On this paper, a systematic research of the type of the corn sheath blight pathogen in Guangxi province, the path and regression analysis of the traits causing by the disease, and the genetic model of the disease scale were treated. The main results obtained as follows:(1)8 pathogen strains of corn sheath blight isolated from different region in Guangxi Province were identified as Rhizoctonia solani AG 1-IA.The pathogenicity test shown that the strain GX4 was the most violent in all the strains, it can be used for test the resistance of maize lines.(2) Correlation and path analysis were made on eight traits to yield by using 12 combinations of maize lines. The result shown that there were significant negative correlation between disease scale with plant height, ear height, ear diameter, rows/ear, leaf area and yield/plant, and there was significant positive correlation with ear lip length.(3) The regression analysis shown that the yield/plant could explained... |
