Root of advanced plant not only absorbs nutrient element but also synthesizes some biochemical active material. The influence on physiological-biochemical characteristic of rice aerial part after bite by brown paddy plant hopper has many researches, but research of rice under ground portion has few. The influence on absorption of N, P and K by rice root in different bite days and density of brown paddy plant hopper was researched in the experiment, that is the influence on rice root absorption function. The result showed that absorption of N by rice root of Wu yunjing No.3 has no influence in the five different densities of brown paddy plant hopper, but has notable influence on absorption of P and K. Absorption of N by rice root has no regularity, but has notably influence on absorption of P and K when brown paddy plant hopper(100/plant) bite 2, 4, 6, 8,10 days. To Xian you 559, absorption of N by rice root has no change, but has notably influence on absorption of P and K when brown paddy plant hopper(60/plant) bite 2,4, 6, 8, 10 days. After brown paddy plant hopper was removed, P absorption function of Xian you 559 root was recovered fastest, but K absorption function of Wu yunjing No.3 root was recovered fastest. Recovery velocity of root absorption correlated with brown paddy plant hopper density and bite days. The experiment result showed that absorption function of N, P, K was not influenced when brown paddy plant hopper density was 20/plnat, but it was notably influenced when brown paddy plant hopper density was 40/plnat.
