Xinjiang, which has glorious cotton planting history, is the biggest commodity cotton base in the country. The annual output approximately composes 35% in the country, occupying about 8% in the world. According to the crops ecology region division, the Xinjiang cotton region belongs to the temperate zone drought. There are two kinds of cotton irrigation area. One of them is the ripe upland cotton irrigation area, for example, especially precocity, mid-precocity, centers and especially precocity; another one is the especially precocity, mid-precocity, centers and especially precocity long-staple cotton irrigation area, the temperature influences the cotton growth outstandingly. Xinjiang cotton regions are vast in territory, and the physical geographical conditions are exceptionally complex, the climatic elements are distributed differently. Therefore, by relevant research on the accumulated temperature influences the cotton growth during the Xinjiang cotton vegetal period. And using the methods, such as Statistical Analysis, GIS, RS, etc. we will establish the Xinjiang cotton vegetal period accumulated temperature model based on the GIS. It is of important significance for using the Xinjiang cotton climate resources and its area compartmentalized .At the same time, it is of certain guiding sense to analyzing the accumulated...
