The effects of the proportion and dosage of N, P, K on the yield and quality of radish ( Raphanus sativus L.) were studied by pot and field experiments in this paper. Also, the effects of combinative application of inorganic fertilizer and manure on the yield and quality of radish were studied by the field experiment. The different N, P, K proportion and dosage economic (root tuber)and total yield (leaf and root), the contents of nitrate, vitamin C and soluble sugar of radish treated with inorganic and manure were determined. The main results were as follows:1. The economic yield of radish increased by suitable combination of N, P, K and decreased by high or low rate of N, P and K. Moreover, the order influencing radish yield was N>P>K. The effect of N on radish was highly singnificant.2.The R/T of radish was closely associated with N, P, K rate. The R/T was high under N, P, or K-deficiency stress. And with the existence of N, P, K, the R/T was decreased with N rate and decreased with high or low rates of P, K.3.The quality of radish was improved by suitable combination of N, P, K and decreased by the high or low rate of N, P, K. The affecting order of three nutrients on the nitrate content was N>K>P. The nitrate content was increased or decreased with N or K application rate, respectively. Also, it will be increased firstly and then decreased after P added. The affecting order of N, P, K on the soluble sugar content of radish was N>K>P. The application of N, P,...
