| AM fungi is a kind useful microorganism that distributes in the soil system extensively; it can form symbiosis with host plant above 90%. The symbiosis can promote host plant to absorb soil mineral element, regulate internal metabolizal activity and improve stress tolerance of plant. The useful role of AM fungi to crops has been influenced by ecological conditions, such as the phosphor is an important factor.Phosphor is one of the indispensable nutrition on plant growth and development. One-third to one-second soils is absent phosphor in Chinese cultivated land. The available phosphor of soils less than 10 mg/kg exists throughout the country. In northward area of China, soils lack of phosphor has become one of the chief limiting factors about yield increase of crops. Increasing of phosphorus fertilizer accommodating will be limited about the quantity of phosphate. Currently as a potential biological phosphate fertilizer, AM fungi have been extensive researched in the world. Their application has broad prospects not only in the use of limited resources, soil nutrients and fertilizers but also to reduce fertilizer consumption in sustainable agricultural production systems.Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz. is a perennial herbs of Compositae, its roots can as medicine. In recent years, Atractylodes macrocephala has been exported to abroad, domestic demand has been increasing, market demand becomes larger, wild resources decline, so artificial cultivation becomes the main source of demand.Pot experiment was conducted to study the related effect of AM fungi on growth and quality of Atractylodes macrocephala with a view to promote plant growth and enhance its medicinal ingredients. We hope it can provide the basis for AM fungi in the application of medicinal plants. The main results as following:1. The results showed that Glomus mosseae and Atractylodes macrocephala have formed symbioses efficiently. Inoculating AM fungi significantly increase mycorrhizal infection rate at 0~0.4 g P/kg level. The infection rate reached the highest level at 0.05 g P/kg soil level weather inoculate, but the infection rate reduced with phosphorus levels increasing,... |
