| In this thesis, we studied the exceeded-use of water supplied by Yellow River in area irrigated of Ningxia province. We used investigation, analysis, reasoning and demonstration to find out the actuality, utilization and future demand of water resource in area irrigated by Yellow River. And we also studied the approach and potential of water saving in that area, the main result listed below:1. Lack of water resource in the area irrigated by Yellow River, the irrigation water supply in face of danger. (four billion m~3)The irrigation water of Ningxia province mainly comes from Yellow River, while the water resource of Yellow River decreased gradually, since 2000, the water can be used in irrigation was far more lower than the quota (4 billion m~3) , in 2030, water demon in this area will increase 26.0 亿 m~3, among this, about 10.5 亿 m~3 will be used in irrigation.2.The water using efficiency of the irrigation area was low. There is large potential of water saving in planting.The water using efficiency of the irrigation area was low(43%). The main problem is: the water resource collocate was illogical, about 92.5% used in irrigation; The utilization of water resource was illogical; the irrigation works was out of date. Decrease the ratio of water consuming crops, decrease the leakage of dyke, improve the irrigation technology, decrease irrigation ration, and increase the water using efficiency. According to estimate, the water saving amount of planting will be 1.52 billion m~3.3.The potential of requiring water saving is much more larger than the consuming water saving in Ningxia province. In the three forecast parallel years, agriculture requiring water saving amount is 21.2billion m~3, 30.64billion m~3and 36.56billion m~3, and the agriculture consuming water saving amount is 2.74billion m~3 4.13billion m~3 and 4.95billion m~3, respectively.4. The main approach of saving water in the irrigated area including: optimizing the water collocates, Regulation water usage for ecology produce and living, ensure the water demand of ecology and living; regulation the water resource in the scope of the whole drainage area; maintain the balance of water table; avoid water resource pollution; Adjusting planting structure, decrease the rice and wheat/corn area; Optimizing irrigation system, decrease water losing of farming; Improving the irrigation technology and integrated water saving modes, The main technique is farmland alteration, the irrigation area of each farmland decreased to about 0.3mu, can save water 4.39billion m~3. |
