Streptococcus suis in area of Jinzhou have been isolated and identified in the study, and therapeutical studies to testing cases and unartificial infected cases have test by home-made Compound Difloxacin injection.Since 2002, streptocosis of swine has showed epidemicity, its incidence of a disease is 3%~5%, mortality rate is 3%~20%, it has caused tremendous economic loss and a few practitioners have infected, it has become a main infectious disease to harm native breeding industry and public sanitation safety. The swines that had infected Streptococcus suis were chosen in representative areas in Jinzhou in the research, pathological tissues were gathered, bacteriological test, serotypes, virulence, drug sensitivity have test. The result shows that a primary blood serum type of streptococcus suis is group C , a few is type 2 and there were groups A,B,C, too. The result of drug sensitivity test show that various serotypes of Streptococcus suis can resist many antibiotics. The swines were inoculated with normal streptococcus and caused to infect Streptococcus suis, Home-made Compound Difloxacin injection were used to treat to groupings. The results show that Compound Difloxacin has a high sensitivity to Streptococcus suis, the Compound Difloxacin excels significantly over Difloxacin in curative effects. MIC of the Compound Difloxacin to Streptococcus suis measured is 0.4mg/L.The result of clinical tests shows that cure rate for swine streptocosis is 93.7% with the Compound Difloxacin at doses of 5 ~ 10mg/kg body weight by intramuscular injection, the curative effect is significance. The result of extendedtest ulteriorly shows that the Compound Difloxacin have better curative effect to cure swine streptocosis in Jinzhou area.
