Soil nutrient map is an application map about soil nutrient condition . The technology of soil nutrient map quick mapping has very important significance on theory and application sides for soil nutrient management ,digital agriculture and precision agriculture. Forthmore,it has guidance value for prescription fertilization based on soil analysis which is carried out in China.The technology of soil nutrient map quick mapping is studied taken suitable area for Chinese gooseberry in Zhouzhi County, Shannxi province as a case. The result shows that the technology is available, which can realize digitalization, quick visualization, high precision, dynamic renewal , distribute on Internet and data sharement. First, collect field data using GPS receiver, analyse soil nutrient to get soil nutrient content attribute;second , import GPS site data into GIS software to establish soil nutrient database;then, interpolate using GIS technology to soil nutrient data to get a continuous soil nutrient content map ,make single nutrient map using GIS spatial analysis technology , make soil nutrient map according to soil nutrient classification standard.According to Chinese agriculture planting status in quo, soil nutrients management and balanced fertilization system (SNMBRS) based on ArcIMS is designed and implied by analyzing the realization methods of WebGIS and structure of ArcIMS and county-level regionalized management method. This system can realize soil nutrition distribution and balance fertilization on Internet, which can supply support decision for the related gross roots users and professional users.The study shows that plot grid using GPS technology can realize precision sampling ,which can control sampling direction;spatial interpolation method should be chosen from trend surface analysis,spline, inverse distance weighting and Kriging based on soil survey;an application software should be developed for analyzing soil spatial distribution and creating fertilization prescription which can make a farmland soil nutrient location vector distribution map based rastor format, or result map can be imported into GIS software using geographic information cartgraphic function of Surfer software. Finally, soil nutrient map can be distributed on Internet using WebGIS software.
