Radix Polygalae is recorded in Shennong's Pharmacopoeia first. It is the one of 85 sorts of traditional export medicinal materials in China, and is also the famous indigenous medicinal materials from Shanxi province. Radix Polygalae has been agriculturally cultivated in a large scale for recent years in Shanxi province, but there are still some problems such as cultural techniques, improved cultivar and germplasms resources. According to these problems, this paper carries out some researches to strengthen the industrial development potential of Radix Polygalae.The determination of collecting gennplasms resources shows: There are different characters of medicinal materials in the different climate districts. The root bark color of wild P. tenuifolia is generally thicker than the cultivars', and the color is related to moisture content in the loam, the moisture content is more, the color is more shallow.In the Radix Polygalae of Shanxi province, the solubility polysaccharide's content is between 9.376% and 17.346%, the wild Radix Polygalae of Wenxi and "Fenyuan number 1 "are highest, Xinzhou and Qinyuan are lowest; thick polysaccharide's content is between 6.846% and 14.542%, Qinyuan and Pinglu highest, the wild cultivar of Wenxi lowest; the total polysaccharide's content is between 18.934% and 30.524%, Pinglu highest, "Fenyuan number 1" second highest, Xinzhou lowest. The senegenin content is between 0.624% and 1.497%, Wenxi local variety and "Fenyan number 1" are highest, and Fanzhi lowest. In this paper, the red cell LD50 is used to show hemolytic characteristics of Radix Polygalae in different habitats, and its scope is between 1871.84 and 3570.15, Qinyuan and Qinxian are lowest, Fanzhi and Yingxian highest, Wenxi local variety and "Fenyan number 1" rank medium on the list. In a word, the polysaccharide's content, senegenin content and hemolysis characteristics are related to the climate regions on some degree.The study on cultural techniques finds: The seeds can be stored 3 years; the best sowing pattern is the way of shallow sowing and shallowly sprinkling water( irrigated land) or shallow sowing to wait for rain (nonirrigated land); the sowing densities is 20 cm×3 cm; the proportion of "N , P , K" per 666.67 m2 is 1: 1.04: 1.34; the seeds should be gained once 23 days after the full bloom; it is more effective to take seeds with self-made collecting-seed machine.The experiment of screening fine cultivars demonstrates: The law of mixing selection to improve varieties can be used in P. tenuifolia, by this way, "Fenyuan number 1"—a new line has been selected, its solubility polysaccharide and senegenin's content are both higher, the product per 666.67 m2 is higher 17.5% than the contrast variety. The research on physical-chemical mutagenesis indicates it can make P. tenuifolia injured to treat the seeds with 75 KR 60Co and 0.005M NaN3. |
