Meeting the demand of modulating agricultural structure recently, alfalfa industry has being developed rapidly in China. The target of this experiment is the salt tolerant alfalfa variety Zhongmu No.l, which is cultivated by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the effect of cultivation technique on Medicago sativa L. production performance will been studied from three respects, those are root nodule bacteria, fertilization and herbicides, it is expected to screen the Sinorhizobium meliloti matched most for Medicago sativa L., to get the most rational matching of N, P, K, and the most suitable herbicides, offering a set of technological guidance for agricultural production directly.8 kinds of Sinorhizobium meliloti strains salt-resistant relatively been chosen for the experiment of root nodule bacteria. In order to understand these bacterial strains, the physiological and biochemical properties having done to analyzed their salt-resistance, acid and alkaline resistance, and the grown temperature. Inoculated these strains, the result indicated that there were obvious difference existed in the inoculation result of different Sinorhizobium meliloti strains. According to the index of growth effect and the content of crude protein, ACCC17544, ACCC17558 and ACCC17568 get the better inoculate results, they have not only improved the output of hay of the alfalfa, but also increased its content of crude protein, they are the high-efficient.Sinorhizobium meliloti for Zhongmu No. 1.In the experiment of fertilization, different nitrogen + phosphorus fertilizer, nitrogen + potassium, phosphorus + potassium fertilizer, and nitrogen + phosphorus + potassium fertilizer were applied to Medicago sativa L. to study the output and the quality of the hay. It is shown that 375kg nitrogen fertilizer + 1150kg phosphorus fertilizer +300kg potassium fertilizer/hm2 is the best, no matter the output of the hay, or the height and the content of crude protein, have obvious improvement. Association that is recommended least is phosphorus + potassium fertilizer.6 kinds of herbicides were selected in the experiment of herbicides, they were been divided into different dosages applied to Medicago sativa L., their effect of weed controlling and the effect of increasing the production of alfalfa were analyzed. Investigated the weeds situation of the experimental plots, and found that the main weeds are Chenopodium glaucum L., Kochia scoparia (L.) Schrad. and Ixeris sonchifolia Hance. According to the weeds control effect of those herbicides, their security to alfalfa and their effect of increasing the production of alfalfa hay, the most ideal herbicides are Machete (level 1) ,. Gallant super (level 1) and Nabu oil EC (level 3), that is to say 1000ml/hm2 Machete, 300 ml/hm2 Gallant super and 1500 ml/hm2 Nabu oil EC is the better herbicides in this experiment.
