| The New Type Duck Hepatitis Virus was isolated from the field infected ducklings by Su Jingling at 1999. This virus caused the similarly symptoms with 1 type duck hepatitis virus. In this study ,180, 9-days old healthy ducklings were divided randomly into 2 groups, 120 for the tested group and 60 for the control group. The pathological model of New Duck Viral Hepatitis (NDVH) was duplicated through inoculating New Duck Hepatitis Virus (NDHV) intramuscularly. The clinical symptoms and gross lesion of infected ducklings were observed. And 13 of serum biochemical indexes were determined at 12h24h,48h,72h,168h and 14d post inoculation(PI).The results of the clinical symptoms showed that infected ducklings began to appear nerve symptoms such as inappetence, ataxia and kicking spasmodically with bom legs 12-24 h post inoculation, and then died with their heads drawn back and their leg stretched. The fastigium of death was the period24-48h post inoculation, and the mortality was 21.7%. The results of postmortem examinations showed that: swelling and hemorrhage appeared in liver; spleen had a change of swelling and appeared white and red in the surface; swelling and congestion in kidney, uric acid salt deposit in some ducklings; white focus in the surface of pancreas with the shape of pinpoint could be seen in some ducklings.The results of the serum biochemical value showed mat: The levels of serum glucose, total protein, albumin, globulin were dropped significantly. The activities of serum aspartse aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase began to increased significantly at 24hPI. The activities of CHE increased significantly at 12h after inoculation. The concentration of creatinine decreased at 12h and increased at 24hPI. There were a lot of changes but have no roles in the activities of alkaline phosphatase, the concentration of uric acid, Calium and P. There were no changes in the activities of serum α-Amylase.The study implied that the levels of serum glucose, total protein, albumin, globulin, the activities of serum aspartse aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase of ducklings infected with New Type Duck Hepatitis Virus were similar to which of ducklings infected with 1 Type Duck Hepatitis Virus. The NDHV had a significant damage to liver and immunity organs and result the death of infected duckling. |
