In order to address the issue of eucalyptus light-medium cutting seedling technique, and targeted on cultivation eucalyptus seedlings rapidly with high quality and large quantity, the article elaborated on eucalyptus light-medium cutting seedling technique, including various technological measures, such as material proportion in light-medium, water supply control technology, fertilizer technology and field planting technology. It provides theoretical basis for eucalyptus light-medium cutting seedling technique. This article selected eucalyptus species "guang 9",which is widely planted in south China, and materials abundant in Zhanjiang as the materials of light-medium cutting propagation experiment. And the seedlings produced in this experiment are selected as the materials of water supply control experiment, fertilizer experiment and field planting experiment. The result showed that bagasse(V): pine bark: yellow soil: perlite =2:5:2:4 or bagasse: coir=2:4 could be better medium for eucalyptus cutting, which will give 77% and 83% rooted percentage. And analysis showed bagasse: coil: rice hull=2:4:2 or bagasse: coil: rice hull: yellow soil=2:4:2:2 also can give about 80% rooted percentage. The test result of water control indicated that delay the interval of irrigation from 3-day to 5-day could give many advantage, such as control height of the seedling, which could prolong nursery time of seedling, and accelerate root development, increase root to shoot rate, enhance drought resistant of the seedling. The fertilizer experiment result showed that P could increase root to shoot ratio, elaborate seedling resistance; N could accelerate the growth of seedlings, but harm to the control of height and the increase of root to shoot ratio. Production of eucalyptus seedling in falls and winter should use 0.1% KH2PO4 per week as nursery fertilizer. In planting season of spring, and in order to produce seedling quickly, 0.1% KH2PO4 add 0.02% urea could be used as nursery fertilizer. In dry season plantation practice, different measures of planting have showed decisive effect. Different seedlings didn't show significant diversity. Seedlings produced in light-medium are as well as, or better than seedlings produced in yellow-soil-bag seedlings.
