Eupatorium adenoporum Sprengel is a perennial herb which belongs to the family of the Asteraceae and the species Eupatorium L. Because of its rapid growth and reproductive rate, there is a hot topic on the control of Eupatorium adenoporum. In this paper, the tissue culture of Eupatorium adenoporum towards microcosmic field was studied, meanwhile cultured and field seedlings under four kinds of concentration of glyphosate treatment were compared. It is important to improve the study on more exotic weeds and effective control as well as Eupatorium adenoporum. The results were shown as follows:(1) The tissue culture of Eupatorium adenoporum: In the tissue culture, the induction frequency of callus was up to 64.35%, when the leaves of Eupatorium adenoporum were cultured on the medium of MS+0.5mg/L2,4-D+2 mg/L 6-BA after 9 days. It was the suitable medium for leaves induction. The suitable medium for the growth and differentiation of shoots was MS+0.5mg/LNAA+1.0 mg/L 6-BA, in which the average height and knots of axillary buds can amount to 3.0cm and 10.3. In the differentiation culture, both growth situation and rooting rate were considered, plantlets were induced from callus on the suitable medium of MS+0.5mg/LNAA+1.0 mg/L 6-BA, on which the rooting rate was 14.07% and the emergence rate of plantlets reached 12.59%.(2) The effect of glyphosate on cultured and field seedlings: The content of chlorophyll in leaves decreased, when the glyphosate with four kinds of concentration affected cultured or field seedlings. With the increasing of concentration, the content of chlorophyll decreased evidently. In a week, as far as the average reduced variation of chlorophyll content was concerned, the field seedlings was 2.5 times than cultured seedlings under the every concentration of glyphosate treatment B25, B50, B100, B500, which was 3.24mg, 2.30mg, 2.62mg, 2.19mg respectively. The content of soluble protein in leaves on the whole first decreased and then increased and at last decreased. After using glyphosate for six days, the reduced content of soluble protein in the cultured seedlings was above one time than field seedlings under every concentration, however the treatment of B500 reached twice.(3) According to the results, the glyphosate which is used to control Eupatorium adenoporum is mainly by means of restricting the ATP enzyme of photosynthesis and chloroplast. The concentration in the control of Eupatorium adenoporum using glyphosate was suggested B50, namely 2% concentration, which is twice in comparison with the recommended concentration in the field. So the strong weed character of Eupatorium adenoporum was reflectedIn a word, it will play an important role in the study of weed in microcosmic field by establishing a asexual reproduction system of Eupatorium adenoporum. In the future, the weed can be used or eliminated really in the way of geneic engneering project.
