| Position measurement system is a set of device that detecting absolute displacement for precise producing technology platform of digital agriculture. The device provides precise position to the platform produce, and provides data to assure two sides wheels of the platform moving synchronously. This research chooses the measurement by increment photoelectric encoder that is a precise way to measure displacement used in many fields through analyses some methods for position measuring. This method converts linear displacement to pulses stands for angular displacement, and then operates the multiplication with the number of the pulses multiplied by the factor that is the number stand for length per pulse in PLC to get the absolute displacement of the platform. The project is designed by making advantage of three-dimensional solid featuring technology, electronic design automation (EDA) technology and programmable controller technology. The research designs the measurement using increment photoelectric encoder based on the practice of the digital agriculture platform producing. The design involves in knowledge of mechanical design and manufacture, electrocircuit design, and automatic control. The machine of the displacement measurement system is designed using featuring function of Pro/Engineer. The circuit for direction judgment, pulse counting and display is designed based on plenty of experiments, and using EDA software Protel 99SE designs the printed circuit board, then uses this circuit getting the factor stand for displacement per plus and testing the reliability of the position measurement. The pluses comes from coder to send to the high speed counter, and the number of the high speed counter is operated in the program of PLC to get the absolute displacement anticipated . |
