Study On Seed Burgeon And Growing Character Of Early Hybrid Rice Combinations

This experiement collocated 63 hybrid rice combination which used seven male sterile rice (810S, Lu18S, 9771S, 629S, H628S, Zhu1S, Jin23A) and nine male parents(R402, 505, ZR02, ZR112,R183, R974, Hua105, H176, Hua819).And we Analyze the effect on burgeon, growing character and physiology characteristic of different hybrid combinations, different harvest and different dry ways.Then summarizing the seed burgeon, growing character and it's regulation, the main conclusions are as fallowing:1. The germination percentage differs from different male parents, female parents and combinations. The combinations from some parents have obvious superiority on germination percentage, which indicates that the seed vigor is decided by genotype in great degree. Zhu1S series combinations have low survive percentage.The most important reason is that they have high percentage of white seedling, died seedling and abnormality seedling. Although the germination percentage of some combinations is different , the difference between the vigor of amylase and a- amylase is not apparent.2. Studying on the relativity of the seed exterior character and seed vigor shows that: the relation of seed germination percentage and one thousand grain weight is not apparent in different hybrid rice combination from the same male parent but the different female parent(but it is apparent from the same female parent but different male parent). Seed germination percentage is negatively related with seed glumes split number of hybrid rice combination which is from the same female parent but different male parent.Therefore we can conclude that: the seed glumes split makes seed vigor weak.3.The analysis of variance in the combinations in the harvest dates and the interaction of combination-harvest date reached the extremely remarkable level. It proved that the harvest date produces remarkable influence on the germination rate of seed, and the most suitable harvest date may be different to each combination. But the difference is...
