Plant activator protein was a new type of broad-spectrum biological pesticide with highly activity and multi-functions which is separated from a Alternaria sp. It could be widely used in crop with the high efficiency. This formulation is stable for more than two years by vacuum packing. However we do not completely understand the mode of action of plant activator protein at present. The systematic dynamic characteristics of pexoxidase(POD) and its isozyme, polyphenol oxidase(PPO) and its isozyme, catalase(CAT) were studied in tomato leaves which were inoculated with the Botrytis Cinerea and treated with different concentrations of plant activator protein. The expression levels of genes CerI that participate in waxiness synthesization and NprI was detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. The results are listed as follow:1. Separation and purification of Plant activator protein(1) through precipitate in grades, pass ion post and the dredge water column ;Pure plant activator protein can be received from thick plant activator protein further purification(2) Plant activator protein has no effect on thalli through plate test.(3 ) Induction of tomato resistance to the Botrytis Cinerea by plant activator protein was up to 71.30%2 Effect of plant activator protein on tomato leaves of important defense enzymes(1) After being treated with Botrytis Cinerea and Plant activator protein, Plant activator protein can induce the expression of these defense enzymes respectively in tomato leaves for POD, PPO and CAT, the optimum concentration of plant activator protein is 2μg.mL-1.(2) the activity of POD and PPO in tomato leaves were higher than the...
