Virtual Prototype(VP) is a new kind method of product design and process development developed in recent 10 years, and it belongs to the advanced research field of modeling and simulation, and VP is a revolution to traditional method of product design. VP technology is to adopt the computer simulation and virtual technology, transforms the data of the product into the environment that can be seen passing through CAD/CAM/CAE techniques in the computer, achieves simulation and analysis of the product, consequently engineers can discover latent problem in the product primary design stage, and can carry on the modification quickly, reduce for the dependence on the physics machine. VP technology is an engineering analysis and estimate technique, and can be applied extensively in a lot of fields such as aviation, aerospace, vehicle and the engineering mechanism etc.The forming press for nutrition block is a mechanization farming equipment that its configuration is complex, work stability is exigent. Because the forming press for nutrition block always works under the intermittent circumgyrate of the periodic movement work condition, therefore the forming press for nutrition block is requested to have the good adaptability and reliability, then it bring forward strict demanding for designing the forming press for nutrition block. For the sake of guaranteeing the use performance and work reliability of the product, lower the design expenses, reduce the amount of physical testing and the risk of failure for the design, VP technology provides powerful tool for the machine dynamic design. In this thesis, multi-rigid-body dynamics theory is laid the foundations, virtual prototype of the forming press for nutrition block is constructed through using thethree-dimensional CAD software and the dynamics analysis software, then kinematics analysis, dynamics analysis and dynamic structure optimization for the key components of the forming press for nutrition block is carried through by VP technology. Connection between the forming press worktable for nutrition block structure parameter, worktable inertia force and inertia moment is studied, gear dynamic load variation is discussed in the shift gears condition, optimization design and intensity analysis for worktable is carried through, and necessary design basis for development design of the forming press for nutrition block is provided. The main contents and results are as follows:1) Research on the simulation theory using VP technologyBased on the multi-rigid-body dynamics theory, Lagrange method is studied to establish system dynamics equation including how to compute general dynamics equation and Lagrange equation. According to stiff problem integrate program and Newton-Raphson iterative arithmetic, solution process and arithmetic of dynamics equation are discussed, verifying that using Gear stiff problem integrate arithmetic and sparse matrix technique can increase computation efficiency.2) Constructing virtual prototype of forming press for nutrition blockThe reasonable VP model is constructed for kinematics analysis and dynamics analysis, such as setting for modeling environment, the data exchange of model depending on different software, simplification of complicated model, the choice of constraints and motions etc, have a great influence on the numerical simulation, and validate validity and feasibility about the VP model of forming press for nutrition block.3) Dynamic simulation experimentation on motor movement export way of the forming press for nutrition block based on VP technologyTwo motions of motor are proposed, S-curve motion of motor and trapezoidal motion of motor are adopted to carry through simulation for VP model. The results indicate that S-curve motion of motor acceleration variation is mild, have less impact on the system, the transition to the constant velocity produce less wear and tear than trapezoidal motion of motor, as the result of this, the smoother performance increases the life of the motors and mechanics of a system.
