Laiwu Black Goat is the superordinary endemic breed of Shandong province. The sexual maturation of Laiwu Black Goat is approximately 4-5 mouth. Its initial mating is approximately 10 mouth, the oestrus cycle is approximately 15-20 days. The gestation period is 150 days. It has extensive purpose such as meat,velvet,feather and leather. Its main production function surpasses other goat specieses, the meat quality is better, the amount of velvet is higher, furthermore,it is accommodate the grazing condition of mountain area.Its essential to master the secretory characteristics of FSH, LH, E2 and P for elevate reproduction of Laiwu Black Goat.FSH and LH are secreted by gonadotroph , they adjust and control the gonad function directly,they are of great importance in the reproduced endocrine. For carry on researching FSH and LH role in goat's reproduction and Understanding the cell sources of FSH and LH. Apply SABC method to research to the distribution of the gonadotroph in pituitary and positive material in the ovary, provide the morphology materials for reproduction and physiology.Experiment 1 The Secretory Characteristics of FSH, LH, E2 and P during the Oestrus cycleThe secretory characteristics of FSH, LH, E2 and P in Laiwu Black Goat was observed using radioimmunoassay system (RIA). The secretion FSH and LH is pulsatile.the number of FSH pulses during the oestrus is less than the number during the anoestrus. the number of LH pulses during the oestrus ismore than the number during the anoestrus. The secretion Estrogens andProgesterone is not pulsatile. During the Oestrus cycle the secretion FSH andLH is pulsatile.There are four pulses is been found. The E2 secretes keepstep in the FSH and LH during the Oestrus cycle. The P expresses thecontinuously high concentration during the anoestrus.Experiment 2 Immunohistochemical studies on gonadotroph of Laiwu BlackGoatBy means of Immunohistochemistry the gonadotroph of laiwu black goat's anterior pituitary were been observed.Its morphologic characteristic and disposition in anterior pituitary were been invested.the morphous of gonadotroph was orbicular-ovate or round.In the perimeter of anterior pituitary,there are gonadotroph distributed. Moreover. the quantity of gonadotroph in the cephalic part and caudal part is more than the middle part. the disposition is scattered.FSH-immunoreactive(ir) cell and LH-immunoreactive(ir) cell distributed in different location in consecutive slice.It indicate that the FSH and LH were secrete by FSH cell, LH cell and FSH/LH cell.Experiment 3 Immunohistochemical studies on GTH-positive cell in ovary of Laiwu Black GoatGTH-positive substance distributed in ovarian cortex.the quantity is large. In oocyte cytoplasm positive substance were found too.The positive substance is not distributed in the stratum granulosum and cumulus oophorus of secondary follicle.
