Chinese cabbage is original vegetable in China and popular by the customers. It is exigent to be supplied for the anniversary. But the high temperature always constrains the anniversary supply of Chinese cabbage. In the course of breeding for the poor choosing methods constrain the development of the breeding. It is needed for a simple operating method to be studied. According to the study of physiologic index of some Chinese cabbage homogeneous parents, we choose the suitable high-temperature tolerance appraisal index, set up a series of methods and technology which has stable result, high efficiency, is fit for operation and suitable for the choice of high-temperature tolerance. The major result is following: 1. The relationship between the high temperature and the soluble protein contents is proved Under the normal temperature, the soluble protein contents of high-temperature tolerance species is high, ones of intolerance ones low, the other ones between two ones. After the high-temperature treatment, all parents'soluble protein contents increase, but the increasing amount is not same. The trend after treatment is the same to the one before treatment. So we think the soluble contents'variation has the correlation with high-temperature tolerance. It can be one of the indexes for high-temperature tolerance breeding. 2. The relationship between the high temperature and the MDA contents is proved Under the normal temperature, the MDA contents of high-temperature tolerance species is low, ones of intolerance ones high, the other ones between two ones. After the high-temperature treatment, all parents'MDA contents increase, the increasing of tolerance one is little, the increasing of intolerance is large. Comparing the MDA content of tolerance and intolerance, the one is high temperature tolerance material whose MAD contents is low whether under the normal temperature or after high-temperature treatment. 3. The relationship between the high temperature and the proline contents is proved According the experiment, under the normal temperature the proline content has some trend. The proline contents of high-temperature tolerance species is high, ones of intolerance ones low, the other ones between two ones. After the treatment all materials'proline contents become increasing, the trend after treatment is the same to the one before treatment. According the experiment we think the proline contents'variation has the correlation with high-temperature tolerance. It can be one of the indexes for high-temperature tolerance breeding. 4. The relationship between the high temperature and the chlorophyll a contents is proved According to the experiment, there is little variation among the chlorophyll a contents of all parents. After the treatment all contents were increased. The increasing is very little especial the intolerance ones'. The treatment can not cause chlorophyll-a contents'variation of intolerance ones. Chlorophyll-a contents'variation can not be one of the indexes for high-temperature tolerance breeding. But it can be one to washing out the intolerance materials. 5. The relationship between the high temperature and the chlorophyll-b contents is proved According to the experiment there is large variation among the chlorophyll -b content under normal temperature. After the treatment some contents were increased, some decreased. According the analysis the change of chlorophyll-b content has not relationship with the high-temperature tolerance. 6. The relationship between the high temperature and the SOD activity is proved There was large difference between all parents'SOD activities under the normal temperature. After the treatment some materials'SOD activities were increased, some decreased. There was not regularity and relationship with high-temperature tolerance. It can be one of the indexes for high-temperature tolerance breeding. 7 The relationship between the high temperature and the CAT activity is proved There is not variation among the all materials'CAT activities under normal temperature. After the treatment all were increased. It proved that high temperature can simulate the CAT activity. But the simulation has not the essential relationship with high-temperature tolerance. So it is thought that CAT activity can be one of the indexes for high-temperature tolerance...
