Crops' introduction, domestication, spread and whether they adapt the environment, all these not only lie on the characteristics of the crops' but also correlate with the environmental conditions of the regions where the crops spread. It's a key to the crops' spread how to evaluate the crops' eco-adaptability in regions accurately. There are many methods and models to evaluate the crops' eco-adaptability, but from the choice of the indexes to the choice of the models, it only suits the evaluation of the given crop in the given region, lacking the universalism. About the way of weight endowing, many methods introduced subjective weight endowing such method as expert estimation. There is much experience in that methods. It's very important how to establish a model that can evaluate many crops' adaptability in many regions in the same time simultaneously and carry out the objective weight endowing during the evaluation.For such reasons, on the base of research of many crops' eco-adaptability and according to Limiting Factor Principle, this study set up a factors index and a method of the crops' eco-evaluation that is more integral, more systematic. By the method, author evaluated the eco-adaptability of many sorts of crops in many regions. The main results as follows:1,On the base of analysis of the factors and linking the eco-adaptability analysis of more than 400 sorts of plants, a factors index system was set up. The system consist of the 5 sorts factors and many special needs that infect the growth of the crops.2, According to the ecological amplitude principle and on the base of factors' quantitative treatment and the infection of factors on the crops' growth author calculated the eco-distance and the scarcity index.3, The relation between the single factor's eco-distance and the scarcity is not linear but non-linear. On the base of the growth models of such crops as rice , wheat, cotton, corn, author introduced S model to describe the relation of the eco-distance and the scarcity of such factors as temperature and soil, and introduced the power function to describe that of such factors as light and water.4, On the base of analysis of the difference and evolution of the means of the subject endowing weight and objective endowing weight, according to the Law of Minimum and Limiting Factors Law, author set up a method of surplus endowing weight, this new method incarnate variable infection of variable factors in variable regions, accord with fact of the regions.5, China is expansive, from the north to south, there are 50 latitudes, from the east to west, it spans drought region, semiarid region and wet region, there are about 61 longitudes. There are various kinds of crops and the resource is abundance. Authors choose 8 crops and 11 regions to evaluate the eco-adaptability of the 8 crops in the 11 regions. The result is according to the fact, Examples given proved that this method is objective, scientific and flexible.
