| The agriculture of Xinjiang is oasis agriculture, The rate of irrigating water use is 94%. This phenomenon not only causes soil secondary productivity clination, water and soil erosion inside oasis but also creates downfalling or death for a great lot of natural vegetables at middle reaches of a river, downstream and desert outer oasis. It have artificial oasis lose a natural barrier and have to face desert s affection . So it is very important to recovery natural vegetable in order to realize oasis stability. Under the condition that water resource is limited the water supplied for desert vegetable is only saved from the agriculture water use . The recovery and maintence for vegetable don t return original state ,it should base on status and sustain the lowest eco-water requirement under the principle that the lowest ecological effect is not affected. Therefore the lowest eco-water requirement for vegetable directly determines water use balance between natural ecological region and artificial ecological region and also relates to oasis agriculture sustainability..With pot-cultured experiment, the course of water consumption and growth of representative desert vegetable outer oasis for Artemisia annua.L, Haloxylon ammodendron bge ,Tamarix ramosissima is researched under different soil water content. It found that the growth of Artemisia annua. is sensitive to soil water, it have capable tolerance to drought. The root system primarily distributes in shallow soil and grow mainly on shallow soil moisture. This plant may used to improve abandoned land .When soil water content is 30%~35% or 35%~40% of field water content, Haloxylon ammodendron ,Tamarix ramosissima still grow and the numbers, the longths, the canopies of them is only reduced 20%~30%, it shows that Haloxylon ammodendron bge ,Tamarix ramosissima have strong resistence to water stress and are able to live in the ecotone. Othermore, the water consumption growth function of desert vegetables is developed, the function is index function, its curve is "S". The irrigation production function inter oasis is also used, the water use balance mode is brought to value the balance between agriculture water use and ecological water use. |
