At present, plant induced disease resistance has became one of most smacking branch in the territory of plant pathology, plant physiology and even biochemistry, some efforts of reseach have been applied in production, which initiate a new pathway for plant disease prevention.Induced disease resistance is recognized that it is the most potential way of preventing Downy Mildew of cucumber. Producing effect of cucumber plant induced risistance has great relationship with inducer categories and inducing methods.Different inducer, inducing method and inducing concentration have great effect to plant acquired resistance. The effect of resistance to downy mildew induced with copolymer of chlorine and potassium ions in cucumber is obviously, while the magnitude of effect that concrete different inducing method and inducing concentration generate is unclear.Induced methods and concentration of resistance to downy mildew induced with copolymer of chlorine and potassium ions in cucumber were studied in this experiment, the result showed that: Four induced methods including root-drench,leave-spray,stem-injection and seed-soaking also have different moderate induced resistance effect to cucumber downy mildew, the mean relative immunization efficiency of root-drench,leave-spray and stem-injection were 32.24%~44.88%,17.58%~22.48%,6.28%~13.51% respectively in experiment of an artificially inoculated disease and were 14.98%~34.19%,17.16%~32.52%,-2.96%~15.60% respectively in the experiment of a natural disease infection; The discrepancy of disease index between treatments and control were 14.29%~19.98%,7.22%~10.15%,2.33%~5.01% respectively in experiment of an artificially inoculated disease and were 3.10%~7.05%,3.80%~7.20%, -0.63%~3.65% respectively in the experiment of a natural disease infection. The optimum inducing concentrations were 6.00% for root-drench, 1.00% for leave-spray and 1.50% for stem-injection.The effect of seed-soaking was not obvious.
