In current study, the effect of different levels and the interaction between fluoride and selenium on Anti-oxidation Enzyme activities, digestibility of Calcium, Phosphorus, fluorine, selenium, ADF and NDF were conducted by using digestion and metabolism, feeding and slaughter trials, respectively. Meanwhile, the process of how selenium antagonizes chronic fluorosis in sheep diets was further studied. The results were showed as follow. 1. Comparing with the diet containing 30% concentrate and 70% roughage, the diet containing 36% concentrate and 65% roughage exhibited the lower fluorine and selenium deposition characteristics, higher calcium, phosphorus, ADF and NDF digestibility. 2. The content of fluorine (36.39-54.27mg/kg) and selenium (0.216-0.657mg/kg) in the diet did not show fluorosis and selenium intoxication features to the sheep. 3. Interaction of 53.18mg/kg fluoride with 0.3505mg/kg selenium in the diets significantly increased the activities of glutathione peroxidase, but no significant effect on superoxide dismutase. Interaction of 36.39mg/kg fluoride with 0.557-0.657mg/kg selenium in the diets decreased Anti-oxidation Enzyme activities. 4. Decreasing of fluorine deposition was caused by the interaction of 0.556mg/kg selenium with 36.39mg/kg,54.27mg/kg fluorine respectively. 5. Interaction of 0.3505mg/kg-0.522mg/kg selenium with 53.18mg/kg fluorine reduced selenium deposition. 6. Interaction of 0.3005-0.606mg/kg selenium with deposit plants fluorine increased the digestibility of calcium and phosphorus. 7. Interaction of 0.216-0.642mg/kg selenium with 54.64mg/kg fluorine did not exhibit significant influence on calcium and phosphorus deposition in the bone, kidney, liver and meat, but significantly decreased the fluorine deposition in the tissue. 8. Interaction of 0.606mg/kg selenium and 54.27mg/kg fluorine, 0.607mg/kg selenium and 36.39mg/kg fluorine decreased NDF digestibility.
