Onthe consideration of saving energy source in this situation, it is notnecessary to design emitter work pressure too high, so drip irrigationsystem is developing to low pressure, and low water head drip irrigationsystem appeared gradually. Because of the loss of water head in the piping,the pressure difference must exist between lateral pipe, under lowpressure emitter flow is sensitive to pressure, and in order to not takefrom irrigation uniformity of regulator (emitter), the same astraditional drip irrigation system, it is necessary to use lateral flowregulator in the system, but the work pressure of normal lateral pressure(flow) regulator is high, it is about 10m normally, these kinds ofregulators can not fit for the low pressure drip irrigation system, sothe paper's key point is to research and exploit a kind of low pressurelateral flow regulator which has low work pressure and work performancestabilization,to prepare for the low pressure drip irrigation system.The main research results are following: 1,Analyzed the theory of compensating regulator, that is the regulator,through the pressure water head dispersion â–³P which has effect onelasticity film and changes with the inlet pressure's changing, deformselasticity film and changes transect area which is under the elasticityfilm, then it can make the same of lateral pipes'inlet flow. To minishwork pressure is to make the lateral flow regulator work under lowerpressure, and that must minish pressure water head dispersion â–³P whichcould not be satisfied with the deforming of elasticity film, so theregulator can not regulate flow, how to solve the contradiction is thekey point to research low water head lateral flow regulator. Accordingthe analysis of orifice, the orifice cross section size has larger effecton the flow than work pressure, so drawing a conclusion: to redesign theorifice form of regulator, and enlarge the loss of orifice, minish waterpressure P2 which is under elasticity film, so the regulator could workin gear even though work pressure was minished, that is to minish P1,the main reason is P2 is lest than P1,and â–³Pï¼P1ï¼P2>P临 could still besatisfied with the need of deforming。The main implement ways are:(1)to enlarge the loss of orifice, that is to enlarge â–³P,and make it tobe larger than critical pressure P临 which could deform the elasticityfilmï¼›(2)to minish the thickness of elasticity film (minishing elasticityperformance),but the shortage is to minish the compensating field. 2,Using Laser Rapid Prototype technology to make flow regulatorsamples. Making use of this kind of technology, the speed of making samplesis faster, the cost is low, the process of products'exploitationcraftwork is simple, the technology prepared for the experiment. 3,Designing and confirming two types of low water head lateral flowregulators: two channel and four channel sub-slot flow regulator samples,those all reach the purpose of the paper, that is taking from work pressure.Work pressure can be taken from to 1m and 2m when the samples use 1mm thickelasticity film, and the compensating field are 1~20m and 2~27mrespectively, it is closed complete compensating, the performance isstability and the effect is good.
