The authors went to A'li area of Tibet two times during July and September, respectively, in 2002 and collected aquatic biota at 10 sites along Shiquan River. Based on surveys, we analyzed the status of aquatic biotic resources of Shiquan River and studied the biology of Schizopygopsis stoliczkai stoliczkai, a dominant species in Shiquan River. The main results are as follows:1. From the specimens we observed 5 phyla 53 genus 106 species of phytoplankton. The mean density and biomass of phytoplankton are 80.954xl04 ind/L and 0.567 mg/L.2. We monitored 29 genus 59 species of protozoa in the specimen. Most species are generalists. The mean density and biomass of protozoa are 904ind/L and 0.044mg/L, respectively.3. There are 29 genus 59 species of rotifer. The most of them are generalists and lives in antiplano. The mean density and biomass of protozoa are 50ind/L and 0.060mg/L.4. The species of cladoceran and copepod in Shiquan River are fewer. From the specimens we observed 5 families 8 genus 18 species of cladoceran and the dominant species are A. sp and Chydrorus sp. Copepoda had 2 orders 8 species. The mean density and biomass of cladocera are 0.070 ind/L and 0.002 mg/L. The mean density and biomass of copepoda are 5.155 ind/L and 0.021 mg/L.5. Attached algae were classified into 3 Phylum 16 Genus 27 Species. And there are 26 species of benthic animals, 7 genus 14 species of vascular plants. 7 species of fish were observed and the dominant species was Schizopygopsis stoliczkai stoliczkai.6. The differences in aging between by anal scale and by sectioned asteriscus was small according to the comparison of ages. Because of the limitation of specimen number we use the scale to study the age and growth of Schizopygopsis stoliczkai stoliczkaiin Shiquan River. The relationship of body length and body weight was W = 0.0113L30359. The relationship of body length and radius of scale was L=23.459+18.157*R and L=39.973R02883. The growth of Schizopygopsis stoliczkai stoliczkai could be fitted with von Bertalanffy equation. There were inflexions in growth rate and growth acceleration of body weight, the reflection point was t=10.18 years. Growth rate and growth acceleration of body length would change as time.7. The range of Schizopygopsis stoliczkai stoliczkai's absolute individual fecundity was 5212~30251 eggs, the mean absolute individual fecundity was 19380 eggs; The relative individual fecundity was: F/Lranges betweenl35.4~975.8 eggs/cm, average 532.8 eggs /cm; F/W=20.1-59.7 eggs/g, the average was 41.3 eggs/g. According to the egg diameter distribution we drew a conclusion that the style of spawning was one-off.8. According to the comparison of Schizopygopsis stoliczkai stoliczkai's feeding in Shiquan River and Bangong Lake we drew a conclusion that Schizopygopsis stoliczkai stoliczkai's had plasticity in feeding habits. |
