The experiment was conducted in experimental farmland of Yangzhou agricultural college in 2001-2002,The soil was sandy loam .The soil fertilizer was middle level and the pre-planted crop was wheat .The experimental material was conventional middle Japonica rice varieties of Zaofeng 9, it was a 2 factor splitting area test of three kinds of seedling cultivating system rice and nitrogen plan mode .The experiment results of the two years were same as follows:l.The sequence of grain yield and head milled rice yield was seedling 6:4 rice , middle shoot 5:5 rice , big shoot rice 4:6 output due to the correspondence between the number of ear per 666.7 m2 and the number of grain per spike .2.Three kinds of multiple quality indexes of cultivating system rice behaved differently. With the increase of proportion nitrogen-application at the earlier stage, head rice rate and protein content drop, Chalkness degree and amylose starch content increased, and glue consistency presented downward trend after rising first.3.Data on the construction of mass biosome of three kinds of cultivating system rice indicated that Rice 6:4 of seedling, Rice 5:5 of middle miao, and Rice 4:6 of big shoot contained rational colony stem tiller trends, appropriate LAI and dry matter quantity, and more good relationship among them. All these founded the important biological base for the correspondence between high yield and good quality to a certain extent.4.Nitrogen utilization efficiency of Rice 6:4 of seedling, Rice 5:5 of middle miao, and Rice 4:6 of big shoot was higher and over 40%, at the same time, nitrogen-application productivity and nitrogen apparent productivity were too relatively higher, so they were the most best mode of nitrogen-application.Wholly, Rice 6:4 of seedling, Rice 5:5 of middle miao, Rice 4:6 of big shoot was the cause of higher yield, better quality, good biological relationship and higher N utilization efficiency, and the Rice 5:5 Miao of middle was the best cultivating mode of among them.
