Dendrocalamopsis oldhami keng f. belongs the Gramineae, Dendrocalamopsis, distributes in the South of Zhejiang ,Taiwan,Guangxi ,Fujian .Guangdong , and especially is famous in Zhejiang .Taiwan and Fujian .It differs from the other bamboo which quick-growth, fast-foresting ,short-term recutting and economic efficiency .The shoots are called " horseshoe bamboo shoot ".It harvested in summer during May to October .The taste is delicious and the nutrition is rich. It's can be keep fresh for only one day ,which limits the scale of sale .This paper is the first study of post harvest physiology and storage techniques of Dendrocalamopsis oldhami shoots .The main results were as follows:The respiration intensity of Dendrocalamopsis oldhami shoots postharvest is increased fast and reach peak at 163.81 CO2mg h-1 kg-1 in 4-6h under normal-temperature .It reach peak at 138.66 CO2mg h-1 kg-1 in 14-16h after pretreatment by frozen water ,and reached peak at 113.43 CO2mg h-1 kg-1 in 14h with treatment by frozen water pretreatment and combined by 1% Chitosan , which can keep shoots a long-term of low rate of respiratory.The activities of PAL and POD increased quickly in a short time, and it decreased after words . Contents of cellulose and lignin increased with the aging of bamboo shoots.The best way of fresh-keeping is which by the addition of shoots packing, 1% chitosan and BCY reagent.The proteide contents of D. oldhami shoots shows the trends of decreasing totally that resulted from the metabolism during the storage. Nutrient contents is in the highest by the Al per-treatment under low temperature storage , and the second is B1, and CK is in the lowest.The water contents decreased 9.37% under low temperature and decreased 16.7% under the normal temperature after 10 day's storage by the combination of 1% chitosan and BCY treatment .The contents of water decreased 33.27% after 10 day's storage under normal temperature without fresh-keeping pretreatment. The contents of cellulose increased all the time and every treatment tends to be the same . Compared with different temperature, the speed of oxidized the deoxidize sugar, the normal temperature is higher than that under the low temperature .fresh-keeping treatment can limit the oxidation.There has 17 kinds amino-acids in D. oldhami shoot, and appearance ofdecreased after increased . Mineral element contents increased varied between 6.85%-8.72%. |
