Investigation And Exploration Of Wild Fruits Germplasm Resources In Anhua County

Anhua is one of the key forestry counties in Hunan province. There are excellent natural conditions and abundant resources of wild fruits in the region .As a result of natural selection ,these wild fruits retain the comprehensive compatibility and great resistance and genetic diversity .they are also initially resources of fruit culture and important basic resources of cultivar reform and plenty of potential utilization value. Unfortunately ,some of them have not been fully utilized, others not discovered ,and others are still disappearing because of some geographical social and historical reasons .therefore, it is of vital importance for us to save and protect wild fruits germplasm resources. And we make the development and utilization of the them the priority.The paper discusses geographical location ,climate conditions and also presents species, varieties, forms and distribution , the scientific name, alias, classification , botanic characteristic, biological characteristic ,chemical ingredient and utilization. The author investigated 106 species ,belonging to 15 families, including berry ,knernel, durazz, nut by investigating gathering samples collecting, literatures, exploring.Most of the fruits can be eaten in raw forms and be processed, others can be used as rootstock in breeding. The paper puts the emphasis on the introduction of main wild fruit germplasm resources including 44 species ,belonging to 24 genera 15 families ,which can be directly used and provides theoretical principle for breeding in resistance.
