Some forestial plants infected by viruses, including Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Linn., Fraxinus chinensis, Syringa oblate Lindl., Paulownia and Zizyphus jujube Mill., were detected and identified by bioassay, serology and molecular biological techniques. According to the results of these detection, it revealed that, one Hibiscus rosa-sinensis sample from Henan was infected by ToMV, the other sample from Beijing was infected by TMV, two Fraxinus chinensis samples respectively coming from Ningxia and Beijing were infected by TMV, Syringa oblate Lindl.sample from Beijing was also infected by TMV, Paulownia sample from Henan was infected by CMV and TMV. We are still under the detection and identification about the pathogen from Zizyphus jujube Mill. now.It were firstly reported about ToMV on Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Linn., TMV on Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Linn, and Syringa oblate Lindl., CMV and TMV on Paulownia.Taking the forestry microorganisms information as application object, based on computer network and database technology, this dissertation present a research on designing of database index searching for forestry microorganisms. The research consists of such items: The rational scheme of IIS5.0+ ACCESS+ASP was applied to the system. The database of forestry microorganisms was built correctly, and the frameworks of the system's hardware and software were made. The effective retrieve program for the database was designed. A website that integrated with database index searching for forestry microorganisms system was designed, using Dreamweaver UltraDev 4.0, a website development tool. The system can provide full and accurate forestry microorganism index for the users and provide functions of dynamically managing the database for the administrator.
