The experiment was conducted by using 400 15-day- Arbor Acres broiler chicks to investigate the change of atrial natriuretic peptide in Ascites Syndrome. On day 15, chicks were randomly divided into two groups. 100 chicks were exposed to normal ambient(22-25#) temperature as control group, 300 chicks were exposed to control (9-11#) temperature as experiment group. Other conditions were under the same standard. The experiment lasted for five weeks. The results were as follows:1. The pulmonary artery pressure of ascites group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05) on three weeks. The mensuration of pulmonary artery pressure of ascites group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01) on four to seven weeks.2. The level of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) of ascites group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05) on three and four weeks . The concentration of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) of ascites group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01) on five to seven weeks .3. The index of heart of ascites group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05) on four and five weeks, and higher than the control group (P<0.01) on six and seven weeks . The level of erythrocyte of ascites group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05) on three weeks, and was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01) on four to seven weeks . The amount of packed cell volume (PCV) of ascites group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05) on four, five and seven weeks, and was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.01) on six weeks .4. The pramaters of blood biochemistry such as cholestery, urea, glucose of ascites group were significantly changed (P<0.05) to compare with normal chickens.The result indicates that the increase of self-secreted ANP can result in the remittence of the pulmonary artery hypertension. Atrial natriuretic peptide plays a role in effective physiology action for improving the founction of heart and lung. |
