Four high starch and early com cultivars, which were used commonly by the starch enterprises in the east Heilongjiang province, were tested in 4 cultivation models to analysis the accumulated performance of starch content [SC] and hundred kernel weight [HKW] during the stages of 18-63 days after silk and compared with the yield to develop the potentiality of SC in order to propose basic data for the farmers to increase the SC stably with suitable cultivation models. The result shows below;1. During the period of 18-63 days after silk the differences of SC and HKW were significant among the cultivars at each phase and but not significant among the cultivation models. During the filling period of 18-63 days, the test materials performed increase in SC and decrease in the accumulation rate of starch. The starch accumulate rate was the fastest at the period of 18 or 23 days and then stable in the stage 28-48 days. The slower increasing rate was 43 days later for Haiyu 8 and 48 days later for others. The HKW increased generally, but the increasing rate was varying among the cultivars. The fastest increasing period of HKW was the stage of 18 or 23 days and then slow down gradually after 43 days later for HaiyuS, Shizaol 1 and the fastest increasing period of HKW was the stage of 28-33 days and 33-38 days for Longdanl3 and Hongyul2, respectively, and then slow down gradually after 48 days later.Hundred-kernel weight of sizaoll approached peak at 53rd day, the other three cultivation approached peak at 58th day.2. The analyzing of the grain yield and starch yield of the 16 experimental plots indicated that the difference was significant among the cultivars and densities. The ranks for the 4 cultivars grain yield was Longyu13>Hongyu12>Haiyu8>Shizao11. But the yield difference was not significant between Longdan13 and Hongyu12. The difference was significant comparing Longdan13, Hongyu12 with Shizao11 and Haiyu8, respectively. The grain yield ranks of the 4 cultivation models were 6.2×104plant /hm2>5.5×104 plant /hm2>7.1×104 plant/hm2>4.8 × 104 plant/hm2 and there was significant difference between 6.2 × 104 plant/hm2 and 4.8 × 104 plant/hm2. To obtain highest yield, suggestion of choice of Longdanl3 and Hongyu12 was put forward both in second and third accumulated temperature zone in the east Heilongjiang province, optimum density 6.2 × 104 plant/hm23. The deference in starch yields of the experimental plots was not significant. Otherwise, the density, cultivars X densities interaction was significant. According to the plot starch yield of 4 cultivars, the ranks of densities were 6.2×104 plant/hm2>5.5 × 104 plant/hm2>7.1 × 104 plant/hm2>4.8× 104 plant/hm2. The analyzing of the average starch yield of the plots of the 4 varieties in different densities indicated that the Haiyu8 obtained starch the highest yield at the level of 5.5× 104 plant/hm2, but did not have significant difference with 6.2 ×104 plant/hm2 and 7.1 × 104 plant/hm2. The Shizao 11 had the highest starch yield in the density of 6.2 × 104 plant/hm2 and no significant difference with 5.5 × 104 plant/hm2 and 7.1 × 104 plant/hm2, but had significant difference with 4.8/hm2. The highest starch yield got at the level of 6.2 × 104piant/hm2 for Hongyu12 and Longdan13 and had significant difference with the other three cultivation models. To obtain highest starch yield, increase density adaptly was suggested both in second and third accumulated temperature zone in the east Heilongjiang province.avoid 4.8 ×104plant/hm2...
