The correlative was studied on the available value of P, K, Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn determined by the method of AST and conventional analyses. On the base, the chemical analysis, adsorption study, greenhouse experiment and field experiment, as four parts of the systematic approach, were employed to study the Cinnamon soil nutrient status in Shanxi. Result of experiment indicated that:1) Significant interactive effects of the soil available value of P, K, Fe,Cu and Zn determined by the method of ASI and of conventional analysis ,were obtained from the experiment.2) Cinnamon soil which was collected from Zuoquan and Heshun respectively were studied with a systematic approach technique on soil nutrient status. It indicates that the effect of use of this method is good .Use of this technique can systematically, scientifically and precisely reflect soil nutrient status and further indicate the limiting factor of trial, so it provides the powerful theory and method for balanced fertilization and it was worth widely spreading in Shanxi.3) First nutrients limiting factors of maize yield were P and N in Cinnamon soil, the second was K and Zn, Cu and B were probably latent contains.4) There were significant effects on the yield of maize on the soil of different texture when the same fertilizers were used under condition of this studying ,the highest yield was obtained in treatment OPT, and the utilization ratio of N, P, K were highest. the contents of N, P and K, recommended in the field experiment were relatively surplus .
