This experiment was conducted to select a kinde of nano-adsorbent in vitro and study the adsorption properties of metal ions lead (Pb) using PBAN in the gastro-intestinal tract and protective role of PBAN on lead Toxicity in finishing pigs.Stock Pb(II) solution (1000 mg/L) was prepared from lead nitrate in deionized water.and this solution was used to prepare working solution for other experiments. Zeoliteh, NN1, NN1T, NN2 and NN2T were used as adsorbent solution on a 10% w/w basis, respectively. Batch adsorption experiments were carried out by shaking 0.1 g of the adsorbent with 100mg/ ml concentration aqueous Pb(II) solution at various pHs and at room temperature in several stoppered tube for retention times varying from 30 to 240 min using a temperature controlled shaker. At the end of the predetermined time interval, the adsorbent was removed by centrifuging and the equilibrium concentration was determined in the supernatant by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The results of the experiment show that NN1T was the best adsorbent, the efficiency of adsorption was relation with initial pH and concentration and we called it PBAN in animal experiment.Seventy tow finishing pigs(Duroc X Landrace X Jia) were randomly al10tted to four groups by weight and sex(barrow, gilt),each of which was relicated three times with six pigs per replicate . The groups received the same basal diet, and four different treatments wer experimented: control(containing 12mg/kg lead) ,trial 1(T1,supplemented with 0.5% PBAN),triaI 2(T2, supplemented with 10mg/kg Pb),trial 3(T3, supplemented with 10mg/kg Pb and 0.5% PBAN). They wereacclimatized for 7 days before starting of the experiment which lasting 45 days. All pigs were given ad libitum acess to feed and tap water .During the later period of feeding trial ,digestive experiment was conducted .After feeding trials ,eight pigs in each treatment were selected based on similar live weight and slaughted .The effects of PBAN on the accumulation of lead in organs showed that The group supplemented with 0.5% PBAN only ( Tl),the accumulation of lead in muscle- liver , kidney was respectively 0.06, 0.38, 0.47mg/kg in The group supplemented with 0.5% PBAN only ( Tl),reach the international standards which prescribe the accumulation of .lead in muscle, liver , kidney was respectively 0.1 , 0.5, 0.5 mg/kg. the accumulation of lead in muscle, liver > kidney of Tl was decrease by 96.94% (P<0.01), 89.05% (P<0.05), 86.94% (P<0.05) respectively,as compare with control,T3 was 10wer 93.04% (P<0.01), 86.44% (P<0.01), 81.78% (P<0.01) than T2; the accumulation of lead in heart> lung , rib, eyes of Tl was decreased 84.21% (P<0.05), 94.29% (P<0.01), 89.89% (P<0.01), 90.43% (P<0.01), as compare with control, respectively, T3 was 10wer 80.44% (P<0.05), 92.74% (P<0.01), 84.18% (P<0.05), 82.5% (P<0.01) than T2; the accumulation of lead in hipP<0campus and brain of Tl was decrease by 86.55% (P<0.05), 87.88% (P<0.01), T3 was 10wer 87.21% (P<0.01), 81.37% (P<0.01) than T2;as compare with control the accumulation of lead in whole brood, gallbladder of Tl was decreased by 92.07% (P<0.01), 89.04% (P<0.01), T3 was 10wer 82.86% (P<0.01), 84.44% (P<0.01) than T20 The excretion of lead in feed showed that the content of lead in manure of Tl was elevated 200%(P<0.05)as compare to control, T3 was higher 61.75% (P<0.01) than T2;there was no obvious effects on the content of urine (P>0.05) .The effects of PBAN on meat co10ur indicated that the meat co10ur of Tl ( a value)increased by 12.00% (P>0.05), 85.71% (P<0.01), 1.11% (P>0.05) ,as compare with control, T2, T3, respectively, and T3 was higher 83.67% (P<0.01) than T2 ; the content of myog10bin in 10ngisissimus dorsi of Tl increased by3.95%(P>0.05), 63.00%(P<0.01), 5.84% (P>0.05),as compare with control, T2, T3, respectively, and T3 was higher54.06%(P<0.01); the content of Hemog10bin in b10od of T1 increased by 16.70% (P<0.05)> 46.06% (P<0.01)> 6.15%(P>0.05),as compare with controk T2, T3, respectively, and T3 was higher 37.61%(P<0.01) thanT2.The results o...
