Hypoaspis (Cosmolaelaps) chianensis Gu is allied to subclass Acari, famliy Laelapidae , genus Hypoaspis Canestrinis; Lasioseius sugawarai Ehara is allied to the genus Lasioseius (Acari:Ascidae). They are all predatory mites. This paper is studying on the biology, ecology of them.1. The life history of Hypoaspis chianensis has five stages : egg, larva, protonympy, deutonymph and adult.2. Developmental periods of all phases of Hypoaspis chianensis besides the phase of prophase were radically shorten as temperature is raising between 20℃ and 30℃ . Developmental periods of whole generation was 18.143 days at 20℃ and 11.534 days at 30℃ .The regressive relationship of developmental period, developmental rate and temperature are: the phase of eggs: D=9.83-0.3048T(R=-0.9843**), V=-1.5135+0.08424T (R=0.9695**): the phase of larva: D=2.9268-0.06044T(R=-0.8999*),V=-0.0817+0.03237 (R=0.7638); the phase of protonymph: D=7.167-0.13 99T (R=-0.9672**), V=0.0094+0.01072T (R=0.9622**); the phase of deutonymph: D=6.9598-0.1414T (R=-0.8725*), V=-0.021+0.01288T (R=0.8677**): the whole generation: D=28.097-0.6622T(R=-0.9829**),V=-0.00864+0.003218T(R=0.9978**).3. The threshold temperature for the development of eggs, larva, protonymph and deutonymph were (18.1±1.24) , (7.56±1.77) , (6.73±1.25) ,(8.62±1.76) respectively. The developmental effective accumulated temperature for eggs, larva, protonympy and deutonympy were 12.86,26.16,65.85,54.41 day-degrees respectively. Itneeded 257.5 day-degrees for completing one generation above 9.09 .According to this result ,Hypoaspis chinanensis could complete 15-16 generation in one year in Fuzhou.4. The life history of Lasioseius sugawarai has five stages: egg, larva, protonympy, deutonymph and adult.5. Developmental periods of all phases of Lasioseius sugawarai besides the phase of prophase were radically shorten as temperature is raising between 20℃ and 30℃ .Developmental periods of whole generation was 19.813 days at 20 and 9.178 days at 30 .The regressive relationship of developmental period ,developmental rate and temperature are :the phase of eggs: D=-0.1972T+8.5036(R=-0.9476*) ,V=0.014852T-0.08064 (R=0.9856**); the phase of larva : D=-0.1539T+5.131(R=-0.9146*),V=0.09394T-1.4229 (R=0.9957**); the phase of protonymph : D=-0.2335T+7.4382( R=-0.8197* ) ,V=0.0801T-1.1918(R=0.9142*) ; the phase of deutonymph:D=-0.2277T+7.7202(R=-0.8905*),V=0.0531T-0.7537(R= 0.9856**) ; the whole generation : D=-1.0229T+35.5878(R=-0.868*) ,V=0.006272T-0.06534(R=0.9103*).6. The threshold temperature for the development of eggs.larva, protonymph and deutonymph were (6.11±0.60) , (15.23±0.33) , (16.55±1.43) , (14.5±0.60) respectively. The developmental effective accumulated temperature for eggs, larva, protonympy and deutonympy were 65,10.55,10.44andl8.30 day-degrees respectively. It needed 132.36 day-degrees for completing one generation above 12.89 .According to this , Lasioseius could complete 18-19 generation in one year in Fuzhou.7. The predatory amounts of Lasioseius sugawarai on Tyrophagus putresentiae (Schrank) in different stages are: larva>egg> protonymph >dult; The relationship between searching efficiency (E) and the number of female predator (P) can be determined by the following model: E=0.064097P-0.03867 ;The relationship between searching efficiency (E)and the number of protonymph predator (P) can be determined by the following model: EKU718P-0.4654 ; This mite is likely to eat larva, especially not the femal; The eggs hatching rate of Lasioseius sugawarai at 6 xinder low temperature is always low, after 6 days reservation only 12.5%, the survival rate of adults is decreasing apparently after 6 days reservation, when after 10 days reservation only 5%; The cannibalism don't exists between two females. The cannibalism rate of the female on the larva, ggs, protonymph is 47.5...
