According to Stat. : The planting area of rice in our country occupy 28.9% of it in the world .The overall output occupy primacy in all foodstuff. But the production of rice is affected by lepidopteral insect. The reduction of output exceed 10% because of insect pest. The double insect-resistant gene can stave the mithridatism of insect and extend used time of transformed rice in this experiment. So the transformed rice can exert action plenty.In this experiment the double insect-resistant gene was transformed into Dongnong 419,Dongnong 420 and Dongsheng 6 those are the popularized breeds with the methods of co-cultivation with A.tumefaciens, microprojectile bombardment and electroporation.
